The Challenge
Create a social media carousel about a real event that you are passionate about using, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Express. Make sure to be intentional about your design choices and make sure all of the slides flow together well.
The Design
For my social design project, I wanted to highlight Bad Bunny’s world tour called the Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour. Personally, I love how Bad Bunny is using his music to spread awareness about the issues that are going on in Puerto Rico and in the world in general. So, I created a social media campaign for his show on July 4th 2026 in Paris, France.
From a design perspective, I wanted to include some elements of Bad Bunny’s show, Puerto Rican culture, and French culture. So, for the cover of the post I made it the coqui which is not only an important animal for the island of Puerto Rico, but it’s also the mascot for Bad Bunny’s tour. I made the coqui have a t-shirt that says I heart Paris on it, to bring some humor to the design. The text on the sunglasses of the coqui was an important element for me because it allowed me to experiment with different typefaces, spacing, and shaping .
Also, for the design as a whole, I stuck to a red, white, and blue color palette to match with the Puerto Rican flag and French flag. I also included a lot of stars into the design because it’s a key element in the Puerto Rican flag itself. I added some of the performers that Bad Bunny has brought out for his previous shows and I also added something called “ La Casita”on the "where" slide, which is one of the sets in the show that represents a house in Puerto Rico. In addition, I made a white chair on the last side to represent the white chairs that are on the cover of the Debí Tirar Más Fotos album. In order, to prevent the design from being too busy with images or graphics, I tried to position the text in different ways on each page. For instance, I had the text stacked on top of each other or arched in different directions. This allowed me to use text as a way to elevate my overall design.
